What’s The 2 A.M. Problem?
October 3, 2019

I can’t believe we are well into May and summer is fast approaching!  What a year, right!?!

I am hoping that everyone had a magical Happy Mother’s Day weekend and made time to celebrate as a mother, daughter/son, or “godparent”.
Whether or not you have children, we all can sometimes take on mothering instincts to care, support and nurture our loved ones, and work
projects, but often times we forget to take the time to do this for ourselves.

In the past, I was just such a workhorse. I was constantly working, whether it be out in the field, or at home in the evenings or weekends during
family time. I would be there sitting in the background with my laptop – working. My fun time usually consisted of networking events or my
daughter’s school activities. The only times I went out socially was when a family member or friend would remind me that I hadn’t done something
fun in a while.

When was the last time you took time out for yourself to do something fun?

To help myself, I created a system (YES, I love organized systems!) to encourage me to schedule more play time. I developed the “Joy List”, a
compilation of all the activities that bring me joy, whether it is going to the movies, concerts, and plays, or spending quality time doing a fun
activity with family and friends like “happy hour”, playing games or cooking. Then, I committed to completing at least 2 items a month and schedule
it. Check it out here!

As a May gift to you, download my Joy List System and challenge yourself to creating more joy in your life.

I dare you to have more fun!!!😁

Time flies when you are having fun (or working hard…). Which way is time flying by for you? Comment below and we’ll see how I can help.

Be on the lookout for a free invite to my upcoming projectUnstoppable Sisters Rising. I am very excited about this!
